In the order that matters

1. Set your handling ceiling (kg). Do the test-lift. This single number eliminates more listings than any other decision, and it is the one most often deferred until after purchase.

2. Measure storage. Lying length or standing height, plus the route to your cleaning spot. Interior dimensions, not the room.

3. Fix the total budget. Purchase plus 5-10% for supplies (cleaner, powder, storage bag or blanket). A ceiling that ignores supplies is not a ceiling.

4. Choose material by maintenance appetite. Not by price and not by adjectives. The material article walks the trade.

8. Plan the boring parts. Cleaning routine, drying arrangement, storage position. Ownership is mostly logistics; the purchase is the small part.
